My students will benefit from these laptops for blended learning centers on a daily basis to work on Lexia, Iready, etc.! Students on the Autism Spectrum like to use technology to work on reading skills such as sight words, letter sounds, counting numbers and to listen to instructional music. Assistive technology such as computers can help students who have difficulty speaking, typing, writing, remembering, pointing, hearing, learning, and many other things. These device can be used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of persons with disabilities. My students simply do not have access to the technology they should. These laptops will allow me to continue to provide my students with access to digital resources and content that can make learning more engaging and fun. My ultimate goal is for each of my students to have access to a reliable computer daily in class.
