English classrooms need dedicated computers. Teachers have students at very different reading and writing levels that require access to computers. If the students have access to computers regularly, they can start to build typing skills, which will help them in college and life. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve student literacy and responsibility, ultimately you will improve their quality of life and education. Dedicated computers in the classroom create a more seamless transition from class work to computer research. The students will be instructed on how to properly care and store their new computers, which will build respect for their possessions and the possessions of others. The computers will be used in each of the three standard English classrooms and will help alleviate some stress during high traffic times in the library.
