For this project, I hope have a projector, speakers, and whiteboard donated along with other classroom materials. These materials will not directly teach my students new skills, but they will help prime my students for learning in all content areas. In my learning skills class, I help students gain strategies to stay organized, learn, prepare for tests, and complete challenging classwork, and it has been my experience, students can learn just as much from their peers. Many of my students are learning to better foster social relationships with their peers. With the tools donated to this project, students will be able to learn how to better work with other to achieve personal and common goals, a skill everyone must learn to develop.
