iPads will be extremely useful for my students for two main reasons: (1) they will add to scholar engagement during independent and small group time and can be used for scholar collaboration in the math classroom, and (2) they can also be used in computer programming extracurricular classes to give scholars experience creating apps for Apple products. Out of my 60 scholars, I believe only about 20 of them have touched a computer before this year. Our town is a very small rural town where internet is hard to come by and very expensive. Most of my scholars would academically benefit from getting more access to different forms of technology.

About my class
