These books, such as The Giving Tree and From Seed to Plant, will be used to expose my students to quality literature as we cover the 3rd grade ELA standards. The books chosen were selected for their variety in subject matter and student interest. These books will not only be used during mini-lessons, but will also be rotated in and out of our own classroom library for students to investigate further. My goal is to foster an early love for reading in all of my students. I want all of my students to become lifelong readers. I'm asking for your help in building our classroom library to help me achieve this goal.
