I serve a Title I population that is Atlanta Georgia's best kept secret. I love the quote that I heard at a training " Title I is how my students eat not how they learn". Growing up in the same population and circumstances myself I know that attaining a quality education is their only way out. This inspires me to make sure that my students have every learning opportunity afforded to them. With this belief I know that we live in a technological ever changing society and I feel that it is my duty to spark their interest and teach them how becoming technology literate. This I feel can open up the world outside of their neighborhoods as well as many opportunities for them in the future. Unfortunately, our school doesn't have a computer lab and the Laptop and IPAD cart we had was stolen last year. These tools I would check for my students to conduct research and create their multimedia presentations. This hinders some activities with limited technology in my classroom.
