The students in my band classes want to learn to play their instruments and share what they have learned with family, friends, and community. They need music stands that will hold their materials not only for rehearsal purposes, but also during our performances throughout the year. We would like to get out and share our gifts with the surrounding community. We would like to travel and perform for a wide range of audiences. By donating and helping us get these new music stands we will be able to reach out to more audiences and give more students more chances to perform. Reliable music stands will allow the students to focus on the task at hand and not worry about picking up music and stands that have fallen. Students will be able to sit with good posture, see their music, and follow the director if they have proper music stands. The band will be able to travel and know that their equipment will be ready to go when we get to our destination. We will be able to accommodate more musicians and grow our program. We want to be
