My students come from different cultural and economic backgrounds; in some cases, some of my students do not have access to technology at all. I strongly feel that my students’ uniqueness and abilities must be properly enhanced by the use of technology to practice and reinforce their mathematical skills and to conduct self-directed projects in the classroom. Due to their diverse abilities and skills, it is critical for my students to have access to reliable technology that enables them to conduct diverse STEM-related projects according to their likes and queries. Technology is very limited in my classroom; therefore, I would like to have two Chromebooks and an iPad that will enable the students to engage in differentiated learning while being helped to increase their academic abilities and skills. Funding this project will allow my students to practice and reinforce their mathematical skills through differentiated practice while developing their inquisitive minds through diverse student-led projects. These Chromebooks and iPad will provide computer access in the classroom for students to use programs like IXL, ImagineLearning, Google Classroom, and BrainingCamp. My students are so unique, and I know that they will benefit from such tools. They will have a blast designing their own projects while practicing and reinforcing their mathematical skills!
