My students attend a charter school. They spend 9 hours a day in school, not to mention the time they spend playing sports or attending after school tutorials. Many of my students were raised speaking Spanish, but they struggle with grammar and reading. In class, I strive to make Spanish culture and history come alive and be relevant to my students' everyday lives.
