The materials our class is looking for will make our classroom library something my students will take pride in and feel comfortable accessing daily. Currently, our classroom library is filled with dated books far above my students' independent and instructional reading levels, hindering my students ability to feel successful as scholars on a pursuit of literacy. Students frequently ask to help organize the classroom library, yet often complain about the books being uninteresting and too difficult to read. Thus, providing my students with books at their reading level will foster feelings of success and growth mindsets that will last a life time.
