Hello, I'm Mr. Ahumada, a 3rd grade teacher at Mecca Elementary School, which is in a migrant, crop-picking community in Southern California (minutes away from the Salton Sea). My students are enthusiastic learners, and they are very hard workers, too. Many of my students come from challenging circumstances at home, but that doesn't stop their love of learning...which, in turn, excites me to be their biggest advocate in and out of the classroom! I love that I am able to help them achieve academic excellence and promote higher education through various strategies and techniques.
