Thank you for considering our projects! I teach Language Arts in a co-taught classroom. Approximately 25% of the students in our room have an ILP since they are English Language Learners; however, almost 70% read below grade level. The majority of those students read at least two grades levels or more below where they should be. Our school is over 60% free and reduced price lunch. Our students have rarely experienced success in a Language Arts classroom and we are trying to help each and every one of them feel like a reader this year. We are asking for various items to promote literacy in new and engaging ways!
