My students are kind, funny, thoughtful, and curious 4th, 5th and 6th graders. One of the things I like best about teaching in a multi-age Montessori classroom is watching my students grow academically and socially over the course of three years. I also enjoy watching the mentoring relationships that develop between older and younger students. Starting in kindergarten, our school places a high value on respect and kindness among students, and I am proud to see this reflected in my classroom on a daily basis.
