When students enter many traditional classrooms, they are met with jobs to be done and worksheets to finish. Not in my classroom! Students come in to engaging, challenging, and fun activities. Utilizing these activities in the classroom builds fine motor skills, science and math skills, and social skills. Using supplies such as Magna Tiles, LEGO bricks, and other building blocks allows students to create something on their own using many skills they already know, while also gaining new skills in the process. Students will benefit from these materials in many ways, and I am excited to see them grow through STEM!
