Having a large classroom library reflects the importance of literacy in a classroom. It can provide students with access to books that they may not have otherwise. To spark student's interest and enthusiasm about reading, books must catch children's attention, captivate their imaginations, and make them want to return to their pages again and again. These books will be used to deepen comprehension strategies and grow their vocabulary. Through reading these books, my students will expand their appreciation of quality literature and reading in general. These books will take my students to new places, help them to understand the world around them a little better and teach them valuable lessons and increase their love of reading.
