I am blessed to work with a fabulous group of third graders at a title 1 school, in the same city and district I grew up in. The school that I work at is very diverse. My students come from all different backgrounds, with different skills and strengths, that make our classroom whole. The group of students that I have this year are particularly motivated to learn, which makes me love my job THAT MUCH MORE! They get excited about reading; they get excited about writing. When learning about laws and our government, I pretended that California had a new law stating that the school hour had been extended until 4pm. The whole class cheered!! I want to do everything that I can, to continue to support their love for learning. This profession truly is the most rewarding of them all.
