Students with special needs often don't gain access to technology in their classrooms. With this donation, my students will learn the ins and outs of how to use the internet, apps, and overall be more engaged in my lessons since tablets are fun! With this donation, my students will be able to visually engage in Social Studies by immersing themselves in the possibilities of the internet. They will learn how to look up images, articles, and even short films/documentaries that will stimulate the visual learners in the class. By each student having an individual tablet, I can lead instruction without worrying about someone not following along. Students will also be able to access the reading curriculum in an English Lesson. There they can log into Reading a-z to read books on their individual reading levels where the book is able to read aloud to them if they struggle with sounding out specific words in the text. The students will enjoy having technology at their fingertips on a daily basis, allowing them to make gains towards their yearly goals in my classroom.
