My high school students come from a society lacking in artistic culture and positive reinforcement. The innate desire for the arts pours out of their very souls. They are curious and motivated. All they need is a little guidance. To see them gain excitement and confidence as they explore and master different techniques is something that deserves respect, nurturing, and LOTS of encouragement. I am always amazed at how well the overall student body supports and encourages each other. The amount of leadership is astounding. All they need is a little positive reinforcement and they'll be shining stars!
