Reading skills are a fundamental part of first grade. I want to have a classroom library that is inviting and comfortable for all of my students so that they can feel relaxed and ready to learn. The beanbags will help add flexible seating for my students. By having a comfortable spot, students can practice fluency. They can read individually or with a partner. As my students practice reading, they will gain the confidence they need to become fluent readers! I hope all my students develop a love for reading! By making my library more comfortable, students will be excited to curl up with a good book.
