As a first year teacher, one thing I lack is a flexible seating option. My students love to be able to move around the classroom, but are unable to read in a lot of areas other than our rug. I would love to be able to offer a flexible seating option. One thing I have been trying to encourage is a love for reading. I think allowing students to have the independence to move around the room and take ownership for their reading time would support this love for reading even more. By donating to this project you would be helping a first year teacher and nineteen little loves on their academic journey.
