I want to use items that will engage the younger students that I see. Engaging toys foster language development. Curiosity creates learners. Play is crucial to learning. I have requested a variety of items that can be used for a multitude of ages for children with speech and language delays. The realistic animal sets will foster so much growth. A water/sand table will create opportunities to learn through exploration. The what's inside box will entice students to interact with me who otherwise wouldn't. The Teacher Pay Teachers card will fund resources I can use with parents to help bridge the gap and support learning at home.
