Kindergarten is such a special time in a child's life. My students love school and want to learn so badly. The most important part of my job is preserving that joy and ensuring that my students continue to love learning. I do that by incorporating play and hands-on experiences with standards-based lessons. My goal is to make the work feel like play. Because of this, my students cheer when it is time to begin our learning centers and anxiously check the board each Monday to see what our new weekly centers will be. Their enthusiasm for learning is motivation for me to continue to provide those fun and meaningful experiences for them.

About my class
