My school opened in 1893. We've been around for a long time and many of my students come from the neighborhood we are located in. This school is a Title One school, which simply means a high number of students come from a low-income families. As a result, it is great when we get funding for field trips or materials they might not usually get their hands on. My students are more than their income levels though; they are smart, fun, kind, brave, and ready to take on anything. They are kindergarteners who have high energy levels and an unmatched creativity. They are little world changers. This is my second year teaching and many of their first or second years being in school. They deserve an education that tailors to their needs and sets the standard of what education is for the rest of their life.
