Technology is extremely motivating for children in today's society. With six Fire tablets, my students will be able to utilize technology during our small group reading and math times. Our school has engaging and beneficial programs such as Flocabulary, iReady, and AR that all of my students benefit from, but not on a regular basis. My ESL (non-English speaking) students would also greatly benefit from these Fire tablets because it would allow greater opportunities for them to use programs such as Footsteps to Brilliance and StarFall as they learn the English language. New technology will provide my students with necessary skill sets for the 21st century!
