My fourth grade students are creative, determined, and ambitious. Many of them receive free or reduced lunch at our Title One school in New York City. Many of them are English language learners or former English language learners. As well as most of their parents that work long hours or multiple jobs. What they all have in common is their desire to improve and succeed at school.
