Every day, 23 energetic kids burst into the classroom. They are problem solvers; they challenge the status quo and question the norm. This class observes and reacts; they see how things are and want to impact the world in positive ways. Our school is a place where every kid is loved; where social skills and emotional development are as important as writing and math. We love making our own worlds, engineering a city out of paper or writing our own plays. These students are voracious readers who are constantly on the hunt for their new favorite book, sharing and gifting their old favorites to their friends. If you asked one, "What kind of learner are you?" she might say "I'm a fantasy reader," "he's a scientist," or "we want to help people."
