As a math specialist, I work with struggling students who have become frustrated and disheartened with learning and have lost confidence in themselves. Too often I hear, "I'm not good at math" or "I can't do this." In my classroom, I work to create a nurturing environment that promotes a growth mindset and is filled with engaging and motivating hands-on activities that foster a new found love of learning in my young mathematicians. It is my hope that my students become empowered, independent learners with the mindset that they can accomplish anything they set their mind to!

About my class
