I want to develop a growth mindset in all of the students in my class. My school is a high poverty, Title I school. Students at Jefferson Elementary School are already encountering life-challenges and need the skills to persevere and stay strong in order to succeed in the future. I do my best every year to develop those skills in my students. I encourage them to be eager to succeed and put in the hard work to do well in their lives. I believe my students need experiences and opportunities to grow and develop confidence in their potential.
