We are a language arts classroom in search of creative ways to combine literacy with science, technology, and math. We are are designers, developers and critical thinkers. I step back and let them take over and wow - whatever my students can do is unlike anything I can imagine, when given the tools they need. I teach advanced level courses, on-grade level, and struggling writers and the best way to motivate and engage my middle school students is to pass the learning onto them and be their coach and mentor as they work towards their future goals and dreams.
