Play-based learning is an important part of our classroom's culture. Having a kitchen and dollhouse would give students the space to express themselves through dramatic play while developing social-emotional skills, problem-solving skills, as well as fine motor skills. Playing in a dollhouse or kitchen is an excellent way for boys and girls to use their imagination to act out scenarios and build on each other's ideas and concepts. It encourages students to listen and cooperate with one another and provide a fun and low-risk space to practice problem-solving. It is so important for our students to have the room and materials that they need to practice important life skills in a fun and creative way!
