The laptops will be used by students to do independent research on artists that they find useful and interesting. It is always exciting to have students talk about new artists they have found on their own, they get such a rush from it! The IB curriculum requires students to do a lot of research over the 2 years they are in the course. Our school does not have reliable access to laptops on a day to day basis which would really hurt my students ability to research and learn from their research. In the past students have used phones to do some research when laptops were not available which is a really poor way to view beautiful artworks!
