My 1st and 2nd grade students are rich with promise and potential-- they are dreamers, thinkers, and creators who find delight in every new understanding and achievement. Many are 1st- or 2nd-generation immigrants from South and Central America, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific Islands. They are hopeful and kind, and they grow more so every day as they learn to value each other's unique knowledge and backgrounds. My students want to be police officers, doctors, scientists--anything that makes the world better. My goal with Donor's Choose is to give them everything they need to fulfill those beautiful dreams. With Donor's Choose, we can give these children the experiences and successes today that will help them become world-changers of tomorrow!
