My Advanced Placement Literature classes are dynamic groups of high school seniors in rural middle Tennessee. Our school is reasonably small, about 900 total students. Our community is in the outlying county, and we have strong agricultural connections. My course aims to expose these students to college level literature- novels, short fiction and poetry- in the attempt to awaken in them a love of literature and the written word. The AP course also allows students the opportunity to earn college credit!
