Through art students are able to express themselves and begin self exploration. With an easel and paint students can practice painting their name, begin letter recognition, or paint something pertaining to a lesson. Art opens up a door to learning and exploration fueled solely on a child's creativity. A sensory table creates an opportunity for students to investigate in a hands-on way. Through water students can learn about objects that float or sink. Putting objects of different textures together teaches students the importance of touch and how their other senses all work together to create an understanding of an object and how that applies to the real world.
