My students are wonderful little children who don't always get to feel like children. We live in a low socioeconomic area where the parents are unable to purchase the simplest of school supplies. My students are like little sponges however, they don't always feel successful due to the lack of preparedness they have. If they knew they could start each class off with the things they need they would be more willing to participate and learn!
