I teach K-8th grade special needs students with various disabilities at a California Public School who come from low income families. Many of my students come from single-parent households or are being raised my extended family. They are considered at-risk. They have limited resources at home to support their learning. The students are well below grades in Reading and Math. They learn best with multiple approaches and a variety of resources to support their diverse needs.
