I have been a secondary school educator for the last 12 years. I have had the opportunity to teach students that were very deficient in the area of reading, math, and day to day life skills. I have recently resigned from my position in order to starting a Preschool and Extended-Day Learning Center. It is my vision to be able to teach young learners and have them prepared to enter kindergarten with the tools they need to be successful in grades K-12. It is also my goal to continue to be of service to school age children by providing after school tutoring, homework-help, and mentoring through my after school care program. In order to be open for business, my center needs resources and supplies for our students and teachers! We are in need of classroom furniture, computers, and curriculum materials. We hope to find donors who can help us be of service to the children in our area.
