All kids should have the chance to learn to ride a bike or something similar regardless of their disability. By providing beginner bikes, like a Strider bike, a bike with training wheels, and tricycles, it would give students a chance at learning to ride a bike or peddling a tricycle. In addition, it would help in the development of motor and core control. The best part of learning to ride a bike or tricycle will be providing them a chance to feel confident and independent. Once these students learn to ride, they will no longer be sitting by the side watching their siblings or peers riding, but they too will have the chance to be a part of something engaging and fun. Can you imagine the smiles on their faces? It will be a life skill they will never forget!
