I would really love for my students to be able to focus during their learning and exploring. Having alternative seating in my room will give them the chance to do this. Some seating choices are about body position while others are about movement while the thinking process is occurring. The different options of seating allow the students to pick a different style and environment that best fits their learning style. We will also be able to take some of the seating options outside the classroom to engage and explore even more learning. To be more specific we are in need of a carpet in our tile floor classroom so we can partake in group learning on this carpet in front of our projector. There are also floor seat pads because we will have a low table or two in our classroom and these will allow the students to sit on the floor level comfortably They will also be able to take these seat pads outside because they are meant to be used in a garden. There are also a couple seating options for the more active learning such as the medicine balls. These medicine balls will allow the students to move around allowing their mind to focus on the learning instead of fidgeting. There are also lap desk to work on for the students who want to work on the floor but need a more private space in order to focus. There are also some other items on the project to help make our learning fun and easier.
