My students attend a suburban public school in North Carolina. I use a Balanced Literacy framework to teach reading, writing, and spelling to a diverse group of 4th graders. I teach students with learning disabilities, speech impediments, social and emotional issues, and also students who are gifted. I teach these same students Social Studies and Health.
