Currently, our class has a maker space that lets the students create innovative projects from household items. Incorporating Lego bricks into the curriculum will take their learning to the next level. The students' creativity will benefit from Lego Early Simple Machine sets as they will be given the opportunity to discover mechanical principles not by simply watching a video but through hands on learning. They will explore principles such as energy, buoyancy, balance and motion by learning and using innovative building techniques. Students will gain valuable problem solving skills as they build and test their creations. They will also learn how to collaborate with their peers at the same time.
