I have an extremely wide range of students in my classroom as a Junior High teacher in a high poverty school district. Throughout the day I see an amazing and sometimes trifling (aren't they always at times) group of 90 students. Although we have our ups and downs, I am always in awe of my students and what they manage to handle at their young age. They work through more than just what we know as normal Junior High issues and still come to school, more often than not, in a good mood and (usually) ready to learn. These students deserve more than a teacher who is here to go through the curriculum; they deserve and need a comfortable, inspiring and motivating environment which I am hopeful to give them with the help from all of you.

About my class
