These kits will provide the most basic instruments and manipulatives for rhythm and movement in music class. They will make it possible for the students to efficiently use the materials. Unless we do something like this, I will not have the time to sanitize the materials between groups. Therefore if we make these kits, the kids will get to use the materials more often! The kits will be particularly helpful as I will begin this school year visiting each classroom on a cart. They can be used while we are in-person in school, but could also be sent home for remote learning in case of quarantine. Even if we are later allowed to meet in my classroom again, the cleaning guidelines will still make the kits necessary.
