These materials will help my students to take pride in their work as they use various representations while persevering through tasks. Students work on rich tasks that require multiple steps, multiple representations, and explanations. The best way to encourage my students to work on these tasks is for them to be able to chart their problems. The gridded chart paper will help students in their precision with graphing and utilizing other representations. They have found it quite difficult to determine the proportionality of graphs drawn inaccutately because their poster paper lacked grids. Gridded poster paper and markers will push their learning in a positive direction.
