Do you remember how exciting it was to open a new book that discussed topics you were interested in? To find a book on the shelf that peaks your interest and you can't wait to start reading it? That is my goal -- to have book options for each student's interest level. Third grade is a pivotal moment in a reader's life, and my goal is to help them become successful readers, and grow throughout the year. One of the important ways to ensure that is to have a classroom library with a variety of options, and because we are starting a brand new school this year we are starting from scratch.
