My students are smart and active, but they need to move during the day. I want to incorporate flexible seating in my class so they can move during instruction time without being a disruption to others. Flexible seating would be a game changer for learning in my room. Students would be able to focus on instruction and move at the same time. This would be a win-win for student and teacher. When my project is funded, my students will be able to choose flexible or regular seating in the classroom to help them focus while learning. Having a choice in the classroom will assist them in the quest for success in their education.
