I would very much like my future entrepreneurs to get their feet wet on what it is like to own and run a business. In order for this to become a reality, students will create their own business concept by producing a business plan, a logo, and promotional materials (videos, print, etc.). With our class Cricut machine, students can design their logos on the computers and use them to create promotional materials by printing and cutting them on the heat transfer vinyl paper which can then be placed on cups, newsletters, t-shirts, etc. The press machines will be the ultimate test for their final designs. Students will then create a promotional video to advertise their business and present it to their classmates, teachers, and parents. This is an excellent way for students to develop their critical thinking skills while motivating them to become future business leaders.
