My students have had to sit for longer periods of time due to the COVID mandates, and they have lost a lot of activity as well. Thus, we have gotten quite creative in providing them with as many activity outlets as possible. However, some special seating would be most beneficial. Flexible seating would allow my students to have some sense of "control" of their learning. It would also give them a safe outlet to distribute some of the built up energy they have accumulated. Flexible seating meets the learning needs of students with ADD, ADHD, and Autism, as well as other areas of disabilities and behaviors. Flexible seating for these amazing kids is NECESSARY as it will help teach them self control. Please help my students continue to adapt better each and every day with new seating options!
