To ensure that learning continues even when students are out of the classroom, I want to provide WiFi access on buses during off-site trips with a Kajeet SmartBus – Portable Kit Bundle. This will allow students to access digital content and complete assignments while taking advantage of supplemental learning opportunities without falling behind in class. This will provide students the opportunity to take ownership over their own learning, allowing them to participate in class without physically being in the classroom. On occasion students are hesitant to attend field trips due to missing class time. The Kajeet SmartBus will not only give students more digital access outside of the classroom, but will also relieve any pressure or stress on students that may arise with not being in the classroom to complete coursework. Students will benefit when participating in co-curricular, enrichment and extra-curricular activities including class field trips, college visits, and sporting events. Classroom teachers will be able to post and receive assignments, as well as engage students with classroom discussions even when they are traveling.
