Our first grade classroom is full of 25 excited and creative individuals who love to learn each and every day! They make me enjoy coming to work in the morning and I strive to be the best teacher I can be to them. My students are always willing to work hard to try and learn all they can. We are currently trying to adjust our way of thinking and our rigor in the classroom to the new State Common Core standards. I know these standards are going to help my students become college and career ready and I can't wait to see the inspiring people they are sure to become. My kiddos deserve everything they can to help them develop the skills the nation is now requiring them to have.
